Our italian ambassador Simone Medici is back racing at Val Di Sole World Cup

The return of Simone Medici (Kona Ambassador) to the downhill world cup competitions took place in recent days during the italian stage of downhill World Cup in Val di Sole. The first day of practice served to regain the race rhythm and to study the best lines in this difficult and technical track. Friday was the day of qualifying and, despite a strong thunderstorm shortly before his departure, with an aggressive and fast descent Simone qualified for Saturday’s final

Nico Le Carré | KONA COG Welcome back, Simone !

This is really a remarkable performance after more than 3 years of absence from these races. Congratulations to Simone and to all the Kona Italy team.

Some news from the Kona Rookie Camp Festival 2019 in Serfaus Fiss Ladis.

Noah Hofmann raced with a Kona Operator CR at the Specialized Rookies Cup in Serfaus Fiss Ladis in Austria.

In the Seeding Run he reached the fastest time in his category U17 and therefore he entered the race as leader. Noah had a good start at the beginning, but unfortunately he had difficulties in the upper section as he slipped away with his rear tire in the curve and thus lost valuable time. Nevertheless, he fought back into the race again. In the end, it was a very tight game and Noah managed a top time of 3 minutes 11 seconds, finishing second, only 5-hundredths of a second behind the first rider, Shakespeare from UK. Congratulations!
