The Kona family grows again! Our man in Netherlands Tom and his wife Nienke just welcomed a baby girl called Sterre. She was born on January 12th at 19.33. Congratulations!

Big Kahuna review, Cyclosprint (Netherlands)

“Echt onder de indruk waren we niet. We trokken de Ardennen in en voelden de Big Kahuna aan de tand. Op de steile hellingen rond Bouillon konden we veel langer op de fiets blijven en ook in de afdalingen gedroeg hij zich beter dan ons normaal tuig.”

“Nieuw is ‘ie niet, cooler wel. Want de 2013 Unit is z’n laklaag kwijt en komt in een ruwe, onafgewerkte finish. Oftewel: kaal staal. Beter, want perfect passend bij de minimalistische uitstraling van deze Amerikaanse singlespeeder.”

09-06-2012 Minidownhillcup SFA, Netherlands.
This was the first downhillish track in the minidownhill series. It had some nice jumps, drops and fast berms. Practice was on Saturday morning, had some nice practice runs with Marin van der Heide, rider for the Dutch BMX talent team, and my big sis Dewi Snoeren (they are in love, haha). My practice runs went well, no mistakes and had no crashes. Read More→
