Just a beautiful shot. Bristol, England, in a Ashton Park Estate, a giant track of rolling land interlaced with singletrack and paved paths.

http://cog.konaworld.com/video/yougettheute.flvWe just finished day six of the Kona photo shoot in Bristol, England. It’s been a blast, and a real Kona culture carpet ride. We’re shooting video for new platform bumpers, as well as a ton of stills for our 2010 marketing materials. Bristol is a cycling haven, and thanks to the folks at Palligap, Kona’s UK distributors, our bicycles play a big role in the cycling sensibility here in this active, park laden city of 300,000. Here’s a sampling of some behind the scenes action. Photos by Mitchell Scott

http://cog.konaworld.com/video/1shotwonder.flvHere we are in Britain. The lovely town of Bristol to be exact. One of England’s most cycling friendly towns. Riders of all types have buzzed us this way and that, and on the wrong side of the road for skip rat’s sake! Yesterday we had the privilege of riding with Joe Smith, Kona’s 18 year-old UK protege from the UK, along with Andrew Tittley, a locally sponsored Kona racer who’s been racing downhill for 20 years. Apparently, he’s even beat his good buddy Steve Peat. Clump rider Grant Fielder is also in attendance. Well good! Here’s some of my snappies from our first beautiful sunny day shooting photos and video in Bristol. Stay tuned for video vignettes from Eric Crosland of Freeride Entertainment and stills from Swedish photographer, Mattias Fredriksson.
