This comes from Demo Dave’s good buddy, Keith. It’s time to start thinking about riding Whistler…there’s very little snow in the valley.
There are some really classic trails and some real hidden gems in and about the Whistler area. I am lucky enough to have ridden a few, and am anxious to conquer the rest. Trespasser is gnarly steep track with lots of exposed rock and tight steep chutes. I rode this trail about 5 years ago and decided to go and revisit it in late 2009. I gave fair warning to my buddies about the terrain and only one stepped forward to join me. A recommended ride if you like the steeps….and if you can find the trail.

I posted my Paddy Wagon recently, now we’ll take a look at another fixie, this one hailing from Springfield, MO.

The wait is over folks. The 2010 Kona Cadabra’s and CoilAir’s are in shops now and ready to ride. We’ve done so much to improve the Magic Link suspension, it will make your heads spin. Try out the stiffer, stronger and lighter rear triangles featuring burly asymmetrical stays, improved yokes and a new rocker. Enjoy the ride quicker with an improved maintenance-free auxiliary shock. The big deal about these bikes is they climb better than any bike that descends as well as they do and descend better than any bike that climbs as well as they do. The best of both worlds, it’s Magic!

Great footage from the Australian Kona Factory Team.
KONA PROJECT Episode 1 from Sean Anderson on Vimeo.
This comes from our man Tom in Holland…
Here’s a nice picture of the MTB crossride team. They ride a Kula Supreme frame in 2010 and the supporting runs by one of our dealers. We support them now for the 3th year, last season they each had weekend podium spots. It’s a very well organized team. The young lady is the Dutch Champ. One of the juniors rides top 3 in Holland and is selected by the Dutch in “jong oranje,” which means he’ll race international and is in a training program run by the Dutch Federation.
For a limited time save big on select 2009 Kona dual suspension bike at participating Kona dealers.

I’m impulsive and have a short attention span. This means bikes get changed around a lot. On my 2007 Paddy Wagon, i wanted to change the paint, but wasn’t sure what to go for… so i stripped it. Its new name came courtesy of Hurl at Cars R Coffins who told me simply “Rust never sleeps” when he learned that i hadn’t clear coated it.
I may do that at some point, but right now i dig the raw look.

This comes from our PNW rep, Jimmy James. Jimmy’s real proud of cover boy Justin Graves. “Not only is he an all round good guy,” says Jimmy, “But he also took 3rd at Collegiate DH Nat’s.” Apparently Justin also works at Revolution Bicycle Repair, Arcata. The motto of the shop is, “the shop that rides.” Which fits real nice for a longtime Kona dealer. The founder of the shop started the business out of a mobile home/bus. According to Jimmy, “Bobby D is another story all by himself….”
Found this in some recent web travels. Ahhh, the Ute, the do-it-all, carry the kids, keep you healthy, grocery-getter gem of the cycling world.
