The photos came in hot and heavy, from all points of the Kona universe—Alaska to Albania, and everywhere in between. Some were serious, some were funny, some were funny without trying to be funny, while others were just, well, interesting, for lack of a better word. We did our best to pick the winners, but added another skew, just to keep things, well, interesting. While some of the captions were good, we couldn’t help but add our own—just to add the extra bit of pop. Here are the top three, with the author’s caption and the Kona alternate for good measure.
