We don’t have many details at this time, but were notified by photographer Ale Di Lullo who was shooting the event that French freeride phenom and Kona rider Antoine Bizet broke his collarbone during the Red Bull Bergline competition this past weekend in Winterberg, Germany. On Friday, May 25th we’ll be at the trailhead with our Trek and Kona mountain bike demo fleet from 10am – 4pm. We’ll be there all day riding, grilling food, and having a great time. There might be a frisbee being thrown as well.
Sandy Ridge recently completed work on a new staging area that has room for about 40 cars. There are two bathrooms as well. From the parking area, there is a trail that leads to the gate and road that climbs to the top of the trails. There are trails for all abilities, but a good portion of them are intermediate/advanced.
