Connor Fearon on his way to 28th

Kona Team DH riders are steadily moving up the World Cup rankings with some solid top 30 results at Mont Ste Anne against a super competitive field. Mitch Delfs finished 26th and Connor Fearon nabbed is best WC result to date by finishing 28th. Both were great results on a track this demanding and dangerous. Connor was pleased with his result, every week he is getting better and better and he’s shooting for a top 20 next week. Mitch was hungrier than what he got, considering the history he has with that track and all his local fans showing up in high numbers, his 26th place was good but not satisfying for him. Both riders are aiming top 20 and want it badly before the small break on the WC circuit.

Mitch Delfs finished a solid 26th

On the XC front, Kona Team riders Spencer Paxson and Kris Sneddon did great as well considering the conditions. With burning hot sun and 32 degrees first hour of the race and then switching to heavy cold rain with high winds, unfortunately Kris pulled out after crashing but Spencer battle his way up to 42 place after starting 83 on the the start grid.
