German Pedaliero Team Reports From First Race of the Enduro One Series in Wipperfuerth

Starting late this season the Pedaliero guys headed over to Wipperfuerth in Western Germany for the first round of the Enduro One series. Enduro One gives beginners a good start for competing in a regional enduro race with a lot of flow and a familiar surrounding. But also the pros can be challenged.enduro_one_2016

Having not been here before the team looked forward to checking the local trails on Saturday for training.
The whole race had six stages, only two of them could be practiced on Saturday. The remaining four stages could be inspected by foot, which was about more relaxing and allowed the team to save power for Sunday.

The weather was sweet with a few clouds about on Sunday, after heavy rainfalls during the week, all trails dried with excellent grip and some loose flat out parts. That said all stages had really leg burning sections which might have been a bit advantage for the cross country guys.

Matthias did very well on his custom built Process 153 on all stages with constant rankings in the top ten and a 4th overall in the E1 Guest class.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

This first stop was held in a low mountain range with a lot of flow. Next stop will be in Austria with more alpine challenges.
