The USA Cycling Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships took place at Snowshoe Mountain, West Virginia this past week and a crack unit of Kona Super Grassroots riders dominated across the field.
Kaysee Armstrong and Cory Rimmer, from King University in Tennessee, went home with FIVE gold medals a-piece as they both took wins in Short Track Cross Country, Cross Country and the Team Relay. As well as that they both secured Team Omnium Medals and Individual Omnium Medals. Kaysee also pulled off a respectable second in the Dual Slalom and fourth in DH!
And at the pointy end of the Downhill, Becky Gardner from Fort Lewis College took the win in the Division 1 category whilst Ali Osgood from Humboldt University took the Division 2 win as well as the fastest female time overall!
These results are just the tip of the iceberg for Kona’s Super Grassroots Team. A team which represents a collection of some of the best and brightest of both up-and-coming, and established cyclists from around the world. You can check out our Super Grassroots rider and team profiles here.
