Multi-Surface, Multi-Purpose: the New Kona Rove and Rove DL

With new Kona models arriving in your local bike shop over the next couple of weeks, we’re doing a series of posts here on the Cog to introduce the new bikes. Keep an eye here all week for rad new bikes and updates to current models. Next up, our new entry level Roves, with smart updates to parts kits and sweet new graphics and paint!

Rove and Rove DL

The Rove is our line of multi-surface, multi-purpose drop bar bikes. Gravel, rando, commuting, or bikepacking, what you’ve done with the Rove line has truly established its niche at Kona. The Rove enables you to expand your horizons and asks you to get just that little bit farther out there.

What you knew last year as the Rove AL has now been expanded to two models: the Rove and Rove DL. Drop bars, disc brakes, and a durable and utilitarian parts spec. Each with two color options. Commute all week and line up for a ‘cross race on the weekend – why not?

We’re rolling out more new bikes in the Rove platform in the coming weeks, so stay tuned here on the Cog blog and on Konaworld.com!

Rove DL

The Rove became an instant classic in the Kona line as soon as it was introduced. Whether it was commuting or gravel racing or whatever you can imagine in-between, what people have done with their Roves has carved a niche here at Kona. It may sound like a cliché to call the Rove DL a versatile machine, but that’s all your fault.

Rove

The Rove is Kona’s essential drop bar all-rounder. Comfortable fit and stable geometry, the ability to take racks and fenders, and a no-nonsense spec make the Rove a great choice for commuting, weekend adventuring, or the occasional ‘cross or gravel race.

Keep an eye here on the Cog throughout this week for more new Kona models!
