Singletracks: Kona Honzo DL a Top 10 Hardtail under $2000

Singletracks has named the Honzo DL one of the 10 best hardtails under $2,000. They were chosen based on the overall value of the build and were looking for dropper posts, good drivetrains, and good tires.

“Kona has built a pretty sweet deal within the Honzo DL.

The Honzo DL tics right under two-thousand dollars, and for that money, buyers get a very functional and impressive entry-level build.

Kona is of course known for its aggressive trail handling capabilities and this is seen throughout the bike.” –Matt Miller

Spoke Magazine reviews The Process 153 AL 29 “The Kona is an incredibly fun and confidence inspiring bike”

“The AL 29 is like a deftly agile juggernaut; that short, stiff rear end mixed with the big front wheel and long reach make it extremely stable at speed. You feel like you can just stand on it and plow over everything in your path, yet retain the precision needed to change direction at will.”

New Zealand’s longest-running mountain bike magazine Spoke, have just released their 74th issue and it features a great review of the 2018 Process 153 AL. “The Satori is a bombproof bike to get you in and out of just about anything you find. It has the composure to charge confidently into the “somewhat unknown” without worry.”

Sapp says he put the Satori through it’s paces riding in conditions varying from dry and loose to pouring rain, roots, rocks, and multi-use trails with ruts and wear to more XC style trails and everything in between.
