Team Kona/Barracuda Rider Gregoire Pazdziorko Wins in the Black Forest

The Barracuda boys were in Todtnau (Germany) last weekend for the second round of the IXS European DH Cup. With Bertrand Gilles preparing his exams at home, only Kristof Lenssens and Gregoire Pazdziorko made the trip to the Black Forest. The race found place in the oldest German bike park, a 3 km track with some crazy steep parts and a total drop of 320 meters. After qualifying in first position in the U17 category, Gregoire Pazdziorko managed to do better in the final by winning with a 9.7 second margin. Two German guys were next to him on the podium. Kristof Lenssens also had a really good run, and despite some small mistakes, ended 18th in the elite category. Not so bad in a European Cup. Kristof is in great shape at the moment and can’t wait to start the UCI World Cup in Fort William. Next week they will go to Namur (Belgium) for the Nissan DH Cup, a good event mixing dirt contests and DH races. The event always attracts a lot of people with a fast and spectacular track. A favorite race of our three team riders…
