Day 2 from Vail Colorado. Teva games Slope-style
Another hot summer day in the mountains and that brought out record crowds for the slope-style event at this years 2010 Teva games.
some of the best slope-style riders were here for the event and everybody was throwing down.
Bass had a great qualifying run to be able to relax going into the final 12 out of 41 competitors. Greg watts was sitting pretty in first place going into the final.
Paul was feeling good for his first final run when disaster struck. Popped a tire on one of the boxes and now had one run left to try and repeat his slope-style win from 09. A few of the big dogs were also having a tough time with nailing down the super run.
Being the consumate professional, Bass threw down one of the best runs of the day to take second overall. Not a repeat performance but with chance left he took it. It was a tough run to beat from Mr. Erik Lawrenuk. Story of the day. Not only taking the win with an amazing run, but doing it on a borrowed bike after dealing with a few mechanicals. The kid couldn’t have been happier.
