Ti Tuesday: “The most comfortable bike I’ve ever owned…” – Jeff’s Ti Rove

This week’s Ti Tuesday comes to us from Jeff Christie of Ridgeland, Mississippi. With the help of Jeremy at Revolution Mobile Bike Service, Jeff built up his Ti Rove to explore any and all roads he could find around the state capital of Jackson.

Jeff’s Rove runs an Ultegra hydro group and he swaps between two wheelsets depending on the ride. The Reynolds Assault wheels you see here sport 28mm Teravail Lickskillet tires, but when the going gets rough he’s got a set of Stan’s wheels with 38mm Teravail Cannonballs.

Last fall, Jeff suffered a back injury and, as it turned out, his Ti Rove was the only bike he could ride “without wanting to give up cycling for couch sitting”. In fact, he calls it the most comfortable bike he’s ever ridden – and isn’t that the allure of Ti?

While Jeff’s fond of his Big Unit single speed, he’s caught the Ti bug and is scheming on a Ti frame to replace the Unit. May we suggest the Ti Honzo, Jeff? Thanks very much for your submission!
