Canada Day gonch at the start of Stage 5

Stage 5 – Sechelt to Langdale
As the pain of racing back to back days starts to set in, and the kilometers start to take their toll, Team Kona solo racers Cory Wallace and Erik Tonkin, begin to position themselves for a solid finish at the 2010 7 Stage BC Bike Race. At 15h7m, Cory Sheppard is only 35mins behind the leader, Chris Sheppard. At 15h37, Erik Tonkin sits in 6th place, a full hour behind the Solo Men’s leader.

Barry Wicks and Chris Sneddon still hold a commanding 26min lead over a South African duo in the Open Men’s Team competition, while husband and wife duo, Wendy Simms and Norm Thibault hold on to 3rd, at 17h22m, 1h11m behind leaders in the mixed category, Geoff Kabush and Catharine Pendrel.
