MTB in the OC: Trail Care Crew Finishes Year in Laguna, CA
The Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew visit to Laguna Beach, CA, saw Steve and Morgan rubbing elbow pads with MTB stars like Hans Rey, Brian Lopes and Richie Schley. They focused on how to move beyond unsustainable fall-line trails to a destination system of flowy singletrack for all types and levels of riders.
Act Now: Help Improve Blue Ridge Parkway Plan
Deadline for Comments is Friday, Dec. 16.
The National Park Service has asked for their Draft Management Plan for the Blue Ridge Parkway — planning that will set management policy for a national park that weaves through parts of Virginia and Western North Carolina to the Smokies in Tennessee. Unfortunately, the 684-page document says next to nothing about mountain biking.
