A late fall video documenting La Course des Morts, a classic alley cat style bike party with over 150 riders participating. Messkit magazine was there volunteering at a checkpoint and taking pics as riders were passing through.

What’s an alleycat? Its a bike rally where riders follow a manifest: a list of addresses, or checkpoints, that they need to visit around the city. Riders find a checkpoint, get their manifest signed, and then race off to the next one. The thing is that there isn’t an order to the checkpoints, and riders need to reach all of them in order to complete the race. Everyone from seasoned bike couriers to folks just out for a night of fun were participating in the freezing conditions. Everyone was wearing big smiles and not caring whether they were in first or last place. Chapeau to everyone who participated!
