What’s an alleycat? Its a bike rally where riders follow a manifest: a list of addresses, or checkpoints, that they need to visit around the city. Riders find a checkpoint, get their manifest signed, and then race off to the next one. The thing is that there isn’t an order to the checkpoints, and riders need to reach all of them in order to complete the race. Everyone from seasoned bike couriers to folks just out for a night of fun were participating in the freezing conditions. Everyone was wearing big smiles and not caring whether they were in first or last place. Chapeau to everyone who participated!
