Transrockies day 7. Another edition of Transrockies is in the books. It was totally awesome. This year the weather cooperated, for the most part, and the trail riding was the best yet by far. Every day we got to the finish totally stoked on all the big mountain single track we slayed, and every night had rad food and shared stories of our adventures around the campfire. On the final stage I got away early on in the rolling technical singletrack, and after pushing the pace for a while figured Sneddon had gotten him self into second, so I cruised for a bit until he caught up. We rolled through the swoopy fun trails at the Canmore Nordic center and finally into town for a victory lap parade. Kris ended up second overall, just a few minutes behind me and almost an hour in front of third.. All in all an awesome showing for team Kona and our rad Hei Hei 29 mountain crusher mountain bikes. Now were headed back home and are already getting excited for next year. We hear it’s going to be even more fun next time.
