Cory Wallace and Kris Sneddon came away with a 1-2 sweep today at the Canadian Marathon National Champs. After escaping from the front group half way through the race, Kris and Cory worked together to distance themselves from the field and make it a two way race for the National Title. In the closing Kilometers, Wallace was able to power away from Kris on a small rise and hold on to win by a handful of seconds to take his first National Championship title in Marathon. Kris and Cory have been dominante forces on the Endurance scene this year, with Kris winning BC Bike race, and Cory taking stage wins at the Transrockies stage race last month. Next up, Cory heads to Mongolia for the Mongolia Bike Challenge as final prep for his assault on the 24hr World Championships. Good work guys!
