Dan put in a storming performance to win the Junior category by 7 seconds at round 2 of the Pearce Cycles series held at Rhyd y Felin (Bala), North Wales on 4 May. The race was held on the same track as the 2013 national championships with a few changes. Dan blitzed the field on his Kona Supreme Operator with a time that would have placed him 3rd overall, 3rd in Elite and first in Experts. Next up is round 2 of the British Downhill Series at Fort William on 10 and 11 May where Dan and Andy will both be hoping for strong results.
