Our friends over at GMBN have just completed their deep-dive comparison of the modern-day Hei Hei CR DL to the decades-old titanium Hei Hei. One was built as a progressive XC rig and the other was built as…a progressive XC rig. Funny how bikes evolve over decades. It’s probably obvious that the current Hei Hei CR DL is much more enjoyable to ride on modern trails, but they aren’t shy about showing the love for the original titanium frame and everything it had going on for it when it was originally built.
