Some great racing for the Kona World Cup Team during qualifications today in Leogang, Austria. After a tough go in Fort William last weekend, all three riders responded in very fast fashion. The biggest news is Connor Fearon qualifying 2nd overall in Elite Men with a time of 3:36.79, less than one second down on Aaron Gwinn. It’s Connor’s best World Cup qualifying result ever and puts him in a great position to make a run at the podium tomorrow. We can’t tell you how excited we are for this humble, hard working rider. Fearon’s teammate and fellow Australian, Andrew Crimmins also bounced back from last weekend in blazing style, setting the fastest time in qualifiers for Junior Men at 3:48.65. This also put Crimmins in a great position to go for his second World Cup win of the season. Tegan Molloy continues to impress in her first season in Elite Women, qualifying 14th overall.
