March is always a party. I turned 42 this March and many of my girlfriends also turned a year older. What do a bunch of Pisces mountain bikers do to celebrate? Well, this year we decided to play Mario Cart. Real-life Mario cart.
Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Toad, Bowser, and Princess Peach all showed up to shuttle North Slope trails in Capital Forest. The dirt was nice and tacky under my wheels but my Maxxis didn’t stand a chance when a banana peel jumped in front of me.
Snacks were eaten, drinks were drunk and fun was had by all.
Our Mario Cart-themed birthday race was the perfect kick-off to the season!
