It’s May, and for those of us in the northern hemisphere that means that summer is oh-so-close! To celebrate, we’ve partnered with Seattle-based Swift Industries on their 2019 Swift Campout taking place on June 22!
What is the Swift Campout?
The Campout is a global call to everyone interested in bikepacking to pack their bags (and bikes) and camp out on June 22nd. Bike shops all over the world host campouts that you can join, or you can create your own camp. The first step is to register here on the Swift Campout website. As an awesome bonus, we’ve partnered with Swift to give away one super custom Rove ST to a lucky camper registered through their website! So, if nothing else, at least enter to win the bike!
When and Where is This Happening?
The Swift Campout is worldwide. You can literally participate anywhere you want. Have a neighborhood gravel grind with an excellent view? That works. Have a mega-adventure in mind that will reward you after 9 grueling hours in the saddle? Go for it! You’ll enter all of your details on the Swift website and they’ll publish routes you can join too! Check out their map room feature to see your ride show up live or follow along with other campers!
The website is full of all kinds of tips and tricks to help hone in hour bikepacking set up. They’ve also got cool Swift gear for sale too!
