I’m really stoked about Thursday’s E-EWS race, I landed my Remote 160 DL in to 26th spot after 73km, 4300m of climbing and using up 3 batteries. The race consisted of three climbing power stages and six descending stages.

Last year I raced the E-EWS100 in Scotland and came second, the jump to the pro race is huge. This is my first experience at this level, and there is a lot of progression to be made.

I definitely need to work on my uphill climbing skills, I lost too much time there, and also, with the rain, a grippier rear tire would have been a good choice. I truly had a blast of a day, pointing my Remote 160 down six very different stages was an absolute pleasure!

Looking forward to the E-EWS in Finale Ligure in 2 weeks, but first full focus on the next two EWS rounds on board of my Process X.
