Kona Adventure Racer Kerry Werner reflects on his first Iceman Cometh Challenge. “I had high expectations because I had heard so much about this iconic race, which is in it’s 30th edition. With good weather and dry trails, the race was blazing fast. Huge group racing in the woods with separations not occurring until the final 5km of the race. I ended up second, being in the wrong place at the wrong time to take the top spot but these are the things that keep me hungry and coming back for more! Enjoy.”
