We’re back from the Boltby Bash Enduro and it’s safe to say, it didn’t disappoint! Set in the idyllic North Yorkshire Moors and amongst some of the best trails the area has to offer, it’s the perfect place for a Mountain Bike Event. 

Kona UK has a brand new event set up for this Year and it was great to hear so many people praising us for how it looks. Whilst the weather was actually pretty good for the Weekend with the sun blazing all Saturday, it was good to know that, had it gone the other way, we could have all huddled inside with the heating on full blast. The new set up gives us ample room to display the new 2022 Models which were again getting some great feedback from the riders. Both the Process X CR/DL & Honzo ESD seemed to be crowd favourites. 

With events like this, it’s also great to have local Kona Riders on hand to show off their Bike in the crowds and represent in the Races. This time it was Yorkshire’s own Ben Clayton who came down and threw his hat into the ring…

“Boltby bash in my opinion is the epitome of a perfect event. A well organised race weekend with such a laid back feel creates a fantastic social event. Throw in to the mix some of the most fun tracks I’ve ever ridden in the UK. One to add to any mountain biker’s calendar for sure.”

It was also great to see Kona UK’s own Scott Belshaw climb aboard his Hei Hei CR/DL and take home 5th in the Sportive, only having been beaten to the line by 4 E-Bikers!   

We’d like to congratulate to all those who rode well & won some Kona goodies, and also a very big thank you to the race organisers for putting on a fantastic event. We are looking forward to next Year’s race already!
