Kona Customer Alert: Rock Shox Lyrik RC & R2C2 & Yari RC2 Recall – Affects Process 153 29er CR & CR DL + Remote CTRL

Hello Kona Family,

We wanted to let you know about SRAM’s announcement in today’s BRAIN of a recall for Lyrik RC2/R2C2 forks and Yari RC2 forks.

A total of 91 x Process 153 29er CR & CR DL bikes in USA, and 44 x Process 153 29er CR & CR DL in Canada and 30 x Process 29er CR DL in Europe are affected. An additional 35 x Remote CTRL bikes in USA are affected by this recall.

Customers should contact SRAM customer service at 1-800-346-2928 or their local Kona dealer and reference the SRAM recall notice linked here. The BRAIN story and SRAM notice provide details on how to identify affected forks.

Although the story in today’s BRAIN newsletter identifies Process 153 29er and 153 DL 29er (Aluminum) and Process 165 as affected models, we haven’t been notified by SRAM that any forks equipped on those bikes are affected.
