Bob recently purchased a Honzo ESD frame from Overmountain Cycles in Carolina, a few weeks later, with the help of Michael and the crew at the shop, he put together this seriously solid daily driver.

Dream Builds don’t always have to feature the most flash components, the whole spirit if a dream build is put together a parts package and complete bike that suits you. A bike that suits your style, your local terrain, and often your budget.  Bob was gone for solid reliable parts with this build and it starts with this SRAM NX/Shimano XT drivetrain.

Although that cassette is definitley not from Shimano, its a 11 speed cassette from Garbaruk.

For suspension, Bob went with a set of 150mm Fox Factory 36 Kashima coated forks. The wheels are handbuilt Spank Oozy rims laced to Factor Components hubs. Both front and rear wheels are shod with Teravail Kessel’s.

Braking comes courtesy of a set of Shimano Deore brakes matched wth SRAM rotors.

That anodized blue headset is from Wollftooth, the bars and stem are both Kona house brand components.

The rest of the build is finished off with a OneUp dropper post operated by a Wolftooth lever. a Chromag Trailmaster saddle and a pair of Ergon GA2 grips finish off the build.
