Queenstown’s Atlas Beer Café has solidified itself over the past decade as THE post ride bar in the riding Mecca. The tiny bar is always packed with riders in post shredding attire enjoying the simple yet stunning food and amazing Emerson’s brews. Kelly McGarry’s canyon flipping bike hangs from the ceiling and almost every MTB event in Queenstown happens with the support of the Atlas Beer Café crew. The Atlas Kona Beer Ute is normally parked up outside the bar, but some recent modifications, thanks to local Kona dealer Bikeaholic, have meant that the Beer Ute can now act as a roving bar. We’re not sure just how legal that is, but it’s pretty damn cool and with summer arriving in the summer hemisphere we know it’s going to get some serious use!

Atlas Beer Café head chef Sam D’Cruze hearts bikes and beer.

Not only did Jake Hood from Bikeaholic spend time working on this bike but his recent addiction to photography finally provided us some damn awesome photos of the Beer Ute in action. Is this the ultimate pub bike?
