Kona Factory Team Rider Caleb Holonko has been planning this Process X CR DL build for a while now. He normally rides a large but wanted to build up a super trickable medium-sized frame as well. He took delivery of the medium frame recently and wasted no time at all putting this tail whipping, bar spinning, 27.5 wheel repping beast together.
The Process X CR DL comes stock as a 29er unless you purchase a size small, in that case, the bike comes in Mullet form with a 27.5 back wheel. For this build, Caleb has opted for 27.5 front and rear. When tail whipping and bar spinning, keeping that front wheel outa of the way of feet is integral.
The drive train is alloy GX crankset with an X-Sync CNC’d 32t chainring and OneUp Bashguard.
Out the back, you’ll find a GX AXS rear mech shifting gears on a XO1 cassette.
SRAM’s AXS paddle shifters cleaning up that cockpit.
SRAM Code RSC brakes with HS2.2 rotors… Is there a better brake rotor combo?
A certain local legend donated Caleb a relic Blackbox top cap, a good thing too, cos’ it’s tidier than drilling out the factory Kona one!
Rock Shox’s latest Super Deluxe Ultimate rear shock looks after things out back, and that custom stripped rocker adds that little bit of flair.
The buttercup-equipped Rock Shox Zeb Ultimate is in fact a 180mm travel fork and yeah that’s a 27.5 ENVE front wheel.
A Chromag Overture saddle sits atop of a Reverb AXS dropper post.
And the build is rounded out with a SRAM Descendant bar and stem combo.
