We don’t see that many Big Honzo CR Dream Builds so when we spotted this one from the crew at Crows Feet in Bend we had to see more. From the one-shot, they posted to their Instagram it was clear some rad stuff was going on, but when Josh fired through the complete photoset it really shone a light on just how dialed and amazing this build is. Let’s take a closer look!

Kicking things off with the drivetrain you’ll find the Shimano’s 12 speed XT rear derailleur and cassette. Up the front, you’ll an Absolute Black oval chainring mounted on an XT crankset.

Although the Big Honzo is a plus bike, Josh has built this bike up as a 29er, the wheels are Industry Nine Enduro 305’s, a bulletproof alloy rim laced to their famed Hydra hubs. The tires are Teravail Ehline’s in 29″ x 2.5″.

Stopping is a Hope Tech affair and is set up with their Tech 3 lever mated to Hopes XC X2 caliper.

You’d normally see a Hope floating rotor matched with Hope brakes, but this bike is spec’d with a 6 bolt Shimano rotor. Don’t know about you but I love the splash of subtle purple Ano.

The dropper post is SDG’s reliable and affordable Tellis post. The handlebar is a Race Face Atlas held in place with a Thomson Elite Stem. Last but not least the front suspension is a RockShox Pike Ultimate spinning on a Hope headset.
