Italian Kona Ambassador Filippo Fiorani has just finished assembling his new custom Operator CR, and it’s ready to party! “This is my definition of Dream Bike!”
The drivetrain is mostly a SRAM affair, an Absolute Black oval chainring is attached to a SRAM XO carbon crank and its finished off out the back with a GX DH cassette and shifter. A Switch Components bash guide keeps the chain in tip-top shape.
Up front you’ll find the bike dampened with a RockShox Boxxer Ultimate 29, while the rear of the bike is looked after by a RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate Coil shock.
The wheels are Switch Components Tsunami rims laced to Hope Pro 4 hubs.
Both front and rear wheels are shod with Continental Der Kaiser Projekt tires and tire inserts from MrWolf Banger 2.0.
In the cockpit you’ll find a direct mount Burgtec stem holding a 800mm handlebar from Switch Components.
The build is rounded out with a seat post and saddle from Switch Components and Switch grips and finally Shimano Saint stoppers.
