Like more and more of our Dream Build posts, Cary Miller from Portland is a repeat offender. He does work at Sellwood Cycles so he has a little bit of an unfair advantage over some of us. This Process 153 CR DL started out as a frame only build, a total blank canvas and Cary has gone for the full Fox/Shimano build on this, it’s just dripping in Kashima gold.

How good do those stealthy black Shimano XTR cranks look? How good does that XTR front chainring look?

Those sexy cranks are mated up with this equally stealthy 12 spd XTR rear derailleur and cassette.

With Kashima everwhere, Cary figured he’d up the gold game and add matching decals to the Fox 36 Factory forks. And yes that is a King Cage the best bottle cage ever made.

Out back you’ll find a matching Fox DPX2 Kashima-coated rear shock.

Keeping the Shimano theme going, powerful Saint stoppers slow things down.

The wheels are DT Swiss 350 hubs laced to Stans always reliable Flow MK3 rims with a Maxxis Assegai up front and Minion DHRII on the rear.

Fox’s Transfer post keeps the Kashima gold theme going while a Chromag BZA stem and bar combo provide a solid home for the Wolftooth dropper post lever, XTR shifters, and Saint brakes.
