Jay Naylor’s Process CR DL 29 is not what it seems. The former Everett, WA native relocated to Japan and decided to downsize and trade in his Operator and Process sleds for a more all-round 29er Process build.

“I only had a vague idea of the MTB scene in Japan but assumed 1) space would be limited and 2) a full-blown DH bike would be unnecessary.”

Jay has made a few changes to the original build that Tim’s Bikeshop shipped him over, the changes make the bike a little more park friendly as the riding near where he lives in Tokyo is rather scarce and Jay predominately rides the local Bike Parks.

Jay has left the drivetrain untouched but added an MRP AMg Bash Guide for added security

The aftermarket Rock Shox Lyrik Ultimate is rocking 170mm of travel (the stock fork is 160mm).

Jay’s build is sporting the always popular Renthal Fatbar (in carbon) and Renthal Apex stem, some oil slick Ergon GE1 Evo Factory grips complete the cockpit.

Industry Nine Hydra hubs laced to Santa Cruz’s bulletproof carbon rims are shod with WTB’s killer 2.5″ Vigilante, 2.4″ Judge combo, Muc Off tubeless valves add just the right amount of flare!
