There’s nothing cooler than scrolling though the #KonaDreamBuilds hashtag on Instagram and being completely stopped in your tracks by a custom build. That’s exactly what happened to us when this insane Libre build from Kentucky popped up in the feed. The boys at Southern Performance Center teamed up with the owner of the bike, Rodney, to build this head-turning rig

The drivetrain definitely plays a big part in this build. It doesn’t get much more bling than SRAM Force 01 Quarq power meter cranks matched up to SRAM XO1 AXS rear derailleur. The bike is also sporting Crank Brothers always polarising Iodine 3 wheels shod with Kenda Small Block 8 tires front and rear.

sRodney’s choice of a flat bar has enabled the use of SRAM’s powerful G2 brakes and the easy installation of a Crank Brothers Highline dropper post.

The Libre is reading for anything from the racing the Dk200 to hitting the backcountry road for a bike-packing adventure, with four bottle cage mounts on the main triangle, anything mounts on the carbon forks and bento box mounts on the top tube there is no shortage of storage.
