In December last year we brought the news that Rodrigo Errazuriz and his riding partner Andres Tagle had ridden their Major Jakes to the top step of the Across Andes 1500km gravel race. Rodrigo is still rolling on his beloved Major Jake and we think you’ll agree that its one heck of a Dream Build.

The BB, chain and crankset are a Shimano Ultegra affair, although the chainrings are in fact from Absolute Black (50-34t).

Its more Shimano Ultegra out back, with a Ultegra rear mech shifting on a 11-32 cassette. The wheels are from Hunt and are build with Hunt brand hubs, spokes and Hunt 40/50 Carbon Aero Disc rims. The hoops are shod with Schwalbe G1 Ultrabite TLE 700×38 tires.

Damn, how good to those gunmetal gray Hunt hubs look!

The brakes are CNC’d works of art from Hope Tech. Hope RX4 flat-mount calipers pull up on Hope floating 160 mm rotors.

with the exception of the FSA headset the cockpit is Zipp Service Course, a 70 Ergo handlebar and 100mm stem. The bar is wrapped in Lizard Skins ever-popular DSP bar tape. The levers are Shimano Ultegra. The Selle Italia Gravel saddle sits atop a Zipp Service Course set post.
