Nick’, AKA Send It Safely’s Sutra ULTD is a real head-turner, those meaty tires and epic bars just stop you in your tracks, this bike means business (in the way that a Mullet hair cut means business). Nick took most parts off his old titanium touring bike that was not quite shreddy enough. “I wanted something that would be on the send-y-er side of #senditsafely. This thing rips singletrack with the best of em. I can’t wait to put chunkier meats on it as well. My motivation for this build was quite simple: fun and dirt shreddy and use as much as I already had parts wise.”

    Cockpit obviously has custom Doom Bars (@doom.bars) bent right here in Sunny ABQ. They are wide, swoopy, and unfinished to allow for some patina buildup.
    Obviously, they are stylishly and securely held in place by a Paul Boxcar Stem. Two roadrunner bags snack bags keep the calories and essentials upfront. 
    The drivetrain is a mix of a Rival 1 rear mech and an apex shifter spun by a race face crank dressed with a wolf tooth rang on it. 38 tooth perhaps.
    The seating arrangements have an original brooks cambium that hasn’t broke at the nose yet, nestled on a beefy Thomson seat post.
    Death to White Supremacy. We are trying to find out exactly what these fenders are, cos’ they are damn sexy.
    There’s also an analog/organic dropper post in there by way of the Paul QR clamp. 
    The wheels were relaced by @yungbrothernature. Spank 359 rims to a Hunt Beyond hub. A mixture of 27.5” Teravail rubber keep it rolling. 2.1” in the rear and a 2.3” in the front. The future is looking bright for some 2.6” – 2.8” meats.
    TRP HY/RD’s slow the bike down and that safety pizza on the rear slows the cars down. The Widefoot Liter cage is a must when riding in the high desert!
