Kona Grassroots riders Jack and Finn Iles travelled to Bear Mountain in Mission, British Columbia for round 2 of the BC Cup. Pouring rain greeted the riders and ensured a wet muddy track for the weekend. Jackʼs advice to his younger brother was simple, “hit your lines and donʼt fall”. After saturday training, a bag full of muddy wet gear was taken to the nearest car wash. Thanks to the hospitality of Aunt Francine and Uncle Bill, who live in nearby Abbotsford, the boys arrived well rested, fueled and dry on race day! Finn, age 12, rode his Kona Entourage to a second place result in U15 while Jack, on his Supreme Operator won first in U17 Expert by 23 seconds. His time would have been 3rd in Junior Expert.
