Kona’s Gravity Team riders Connor Fearon and Anthony Poulson have only been on French soil for a couple days, but they have already suffered though a very slippery track walk yesterday and hung on for a wild practice today. The already steep and technical first stop on the UCI DH World Cup circuit at Lourdes was already known for its extreme nature, now the wet and sloppy conditions are going to make for some seriously exciting racing.

Both Connor and Anthony though are excited to get on track and get the season underway. Talking earlier today Connor said “The track is one of the most technical and physical tracks of the year. It’s been raining almost non stop so it’s making it even harder to complete a consistent race run but my fitness is better and I’m feeling awesome on the bike. Im looking forward to racing and i’m excited to be back at Lourdes for the first World Cup of 2016.”
New Kona World Cup junior rider Anthony Poulson is also understandably excited to be in France “I’m so happy to be here in France for my first ever world cup! The track is really wild here due to the crazy weather we’ve had over the last two days. I’m still feeling pretty good on the bike, so it’s going to be fun tomorrow for qualifications!
