Last Weekends POC Scottish Enduro Series race was amazing! It was a classic affair of Scottish rain and mud. The course itself was a mix of natural hand cut trails and national level downhill runs. After the first stage I was sitting in 3rd, but a split shoe caused me difficulty in the remaining 4 stages. I rode well throughout the day but a small crash on stage 4 and two big crashes on stage 5 pushed me back to 12th overall for the day.
The result was not what I had hoped for but the field was stacked with International level enduro and downhill riders so I can take some positives from the race to this weekends UK Gravity Enduro Round 1 at Ae forest.
My Process 111 DL performed well beyond what it was intended for and I was the only rider in the top 50 on a bike with less than 120mm of travel. It shows the capability and versatility of the bike, it can hold its own on the roughest of downhills and outperform the bigger bikes on the climbs. I can’t wait to put in another solid performance at the UKGE.
