The Irish Cycling Show took place last weekend 18th-19th April and this year it returned to the RDS show centre in Dublin. Kona bikes as always were well represented with Dan flying in from North America and Jimbo arriving in from Europe. Mbw bike shop and Cycleways were the bike shops dealing with the customers over the two days and foot-fall in the stall was once again very impressive. Kona had a good mix of bikes.
from full Carbon racing machines to Ti gravel grinders and XC, Enduro and Downhill weapons on display. The Titanium Rove gravel grinder and Esatto Titanium Road bike were the highlight of the show..who doesn’t want a titanium bike at the end of the day and this was closely followed by the Process 111 Enduro bike which are like hens teeth across the planet, very much in demand but very hard to get your hands on one. Team members Neil and Garry were there talking people through the line up and as usual talking about how great they are on the kona bikes they own, Siblings Jonathan and Leah were also present in between practice runs and race runs at Rd 2 of the Irish Downhill series.
The show was part 1 of Kona’s Ireland trip, this weekend see’s the guys along with Mbw bike shop host an MTB Demo day at Bike Park Ireland in Tipperar.
Here riders can try out Kona mountain bikes on the parks trails free of charge. It promises to be a great day with an awesome line up of bikes available for demo.
Hope to see you all, an opportunity not to be missed.
