Last weekend the Crankworx roadshow rolled into Innsbruck, Austria. Kona rider Noah Hofmann from Ampflwang competed in the downhill on his Kona Operator CR in the U19 Pro category. The Crankworx DH races were doing double duty as the Austrian National Championships, local riders were separated into their own category with fellow Austrian competitors. Training was hampered by heavy rain and conditions proved really difficult to handle, an entire practice day got canceled just one day before the race. After three minutes and eight seconds, Noah crossed the finish line and took a spot in the “hot seat”. Tensions started to get bigger as the rest of the top riders still had their race run coming up. Ultimately, Noah became the new Austrian Downhill Junior National Champion. He also managed to get an impressive fourth place in the Pro U19 Crankworx Downhill event, were he just missed the podium. We warmly congratulate him on this outstanding achievement!
