Rad Racing’s team manager Jim Brown reports: Big weekend here in the NW as the Starcrossed show came to town. Prior to the race we were able to arrange a private clinic with Jeremy Powers and NW Native Zach McDonald. These guys were very generous with their time and the kids were thrilled to get instruction from some of the best. Photos here

As far as racing goes: RRNW swept the Junior U17 Podium with Scott Funston taking the win followed by Lewis Whiley and Ben King respectively. On the girls side Ciara MacDonald and Aynslee King were 2nd and 3rd behind a top Canadian Junior.

Top riders Nolan Brady and David O’Brien finished 2nd and 4th in the hotly contested Cat-2/3 field, the victory slipped away from Nolan in the final few meters after pushing the pace the entire race.

Our girls got to spend some time with Ladie’s Champion Gabby Durrin before her race, it was a pretty special moment for the girls.

Catch Brayden Buchanan hopping the barriers, he was the first rider to do it on race day and he did it every lap. Photos here and here
