It decided to rain in the desert yesterday. Deluge actually. So much so that Red Bull Rampage event organizers wisely decided to close the venue to building and practice. While it adds a hint of stress to the next three days, it gave nature a chance to tack up the dirt a bunch and athletes the chance to heal and rest before some seriously gnarly mountain bike action goes down. With three Kona riders competing in the event: Agassiz, Bass and Bizet, we used the opportunity to catch up with the guys in the calm before the storm. Here’s the first in a three part series we’re calling Rampage Rain Day.
