Roc & Ride’s Claude Levesque reports…This April 2nd for its 5th birthday, Roc & Ride organized a Chinese Downhill on bikes. I wanted to organize a funny-family-friendly race inspired by the 1985 ski movie ”Hot Dog”. It was an ideal concept for the one week’s notice we gave participants. A Chinese Downhill means no rules, getting down all togehter, and getting in costumes! The crowd was super hyped and the Mont Alta owner was also very cool to let us do this kind of thing in Quebec. Thanks to our hair dresser Anik who donated the 1st prize: A live haircut! And the other prizes from Kona. And of course, our Pabst Blue Ribbon beer sponsor. We’re all looking foward for next year!
