Romain report: After a few tourist days in Montreal and a big day in LA RONDE the attraction park, we are back in CANADA, the legendary track of Mont Sainte Anne was some little magazine this year, with slower portions but even more technical.
Training are very short and it is very important not to break parts. It’s fun to ride but changing climate conditions do not facilitate the memorization of the track.
Friday qualifying day, I’m some kinda stuck on my KONA in the fast parts, I realize a good run throughout and crossed the arrival line in 39th place. So I pick up my ticket for the final. HAPPY!
Saturday morning, the sun is back, this is the great many are the final contenders to win the fifth round of the World Cup. I share with the mind not to make mistakes because many drivers with an arm or ankle loose down in the paddock.
With a good bottom, and some mistakes on top due to a tired body I finished 46th. I am both happy to be back in the midst of the world’s best and a little disappointed not to get into the TOP 30 because I think it was possible.
Thank you all, go to next Saturday in Windham for the 6th round of the World Cup in the United States.
