If you’ve never been to Coeur d’Alene, what are you waiting for? This is the little town that could and does.

Located lakeside in the Idaho panhandle Coeur d’Alene oozes all things bike – road, tri, mountain – you want it, you got it.

It’s synonymous with the king of all tri events – Ironman. And there’s a host of mountain and road events and no end to the miles and miles of riding opportunity.

Vertical Earth is there to help you get to the top of your game.

“We promote our passions to the community, to get new people involved and excited about cycling,” says Mike Gaertner, owner, manager.

Community is big at Vertical Earth. It makes them tick.

At Vertical Earth you can find road, mountain, tri, cyclo-cross and cruiser bikes. You can also dial in on cross country skis and snowshoes. It’s a full service shop that’s active in event promotion and land use issues. “We’re actual riders on staff, with a good, solid, core group.”

Gaertner says he got into the business for the love of riding, love of bikes and the love of trying to get other people into it.

Job well done!
