Another great performance for the Barracuda-Kona rider Kristof Lenssens who won for the third time in a row at the Nissan DH Cup in Huy (Belgium). On a steep and very technical track, Kristof managed to clear a perfect run to grab the win in front of spanish rider Javier Guijarro, belgian veteran Pascal Closset and french rising star Ludovic Oget. Bertrand Gilles finished in 6th place. Not so bad when you know that Bertrand just came back from holiday the night before the race and did not take part in to training. Next race will be the belgian championship next week-end in Malmedy.

Kristof Lenssens: “I’m very happy with this result and especially on a track like Huy. The track is so steep and narrow that it’s already difficult to stay on your two wheels. Finding a good pace during your race run is not easy. It was pretty close but I stayed in front due to the time I did in my second run. The competition is really strong in Belgium right now and no mistakes are allowed. Now i’ll concentrate on the Belgian Championship. Another technical track….”
