Adding a splash of orange to your Ti Kona build seems to be a little bit of theme these days and Roy Towes, from Dutch Cycle in Regina, Saskatchewan embraced it whole heartedly when building up this very rad Ti Honzo. It’s a solid mix of Race Face, Fox and Shimano parts (and as always a Chris King Head Set) and it is clearly build to be ridden hard!
Race Face SIXC bars and Half Nelson grips max for a dialed cockpit while the King headset and Fox 36 fork take care of the burl coming their way on the trail.
The bike rolls on Mavic wheels and tires, and the super light and strong carbon Race Face SIXC Cranks, mated to a Saint rear mech propel the whole thing. The Chromag seat and Race Face pedals just add the right amount of orange to keep this bike classy!
SRAM vs Shimano. Kona sales rep, Scott McKay, lines his personal Ti Honzo up with Roy’s.
Ti Kona’s must have a Chris King Headset. Thats a rule.
